About me

Born in 2000 in New York City, Hunter Barkhorn is a 23-year-old Art major focusing on photography, with minors in communications and marketing. His greatest influences come from the works of artists such as Cody Cobb and Ansel Adams. His interest in art came from noticing his dad taking pictures; this piqued his curiosity, and since then, he has been taking photographs ever since. He and his family go on hikes occasionally, whether it is paths right near their home or more rigorous trails in New Hampshire. Hunter has always been inspired by nature. One day he combined his love of nature with his love of photography and he was hooked. He is interested in showing others what he sees in nature. He also enjoys photography because of the peace it brings him. His senior thesis focuses on showcasing the beauty of the natural world and the positive influence it can have on humanity.
